Fifty-two-year-old Joseph Barulich, New York’s regular Mega Millions lotto player match 5 balls for $1,000,000. The Man from Woodside, matched the first five numbers drawn for the May 8 drawing made him millionaire with $1 Million payday.

Barulich said he created quite the scene when he realized his good fortune. “I started jumping up and down in the store and pulled a muscle in my leg!”

The Mega Millions winning numbers for the May 8 drawing were 8-15-39-64-67 with Mega Ball 13. The Mega Millions second prize of $1,000,000 is paid as a one-time lump sum payment. After required withholdings, Barulich will receive a net check totalling $633,040.

Barulich’s biggest plans for his winnings are for his daughter. “I plan to spoil my daughter. She is my life.” He also plans to buy himself a Harley. The next Mega Millions estimated jackpot is $50,000,000 that will drawing on May 15, 2018.
